Traveling More With My Daughter

I didn't travel as a child. Financially, I wasn't born with that privilege. I think the first trip my mom and I took was to the Jersey Shore. I was in grade school, probably around 10 and you couldn't tell me that our small motel wasn't a luxurious resort. At 14 my mom was approved for a Discover card ... that one card that gives credit with a super high interest rate? Yeah, that one. I was 15, in high school and she charged an entire week in the Bahamas on that card. Boy did we have fun! Later in life I learned my mom would do things like this when she was manic and approved for new credit.
One time, during a manic episode she had a pool built in the backyard. Wild times in my childhood ... I'll share more in the future ;)
Anyway a goal of mine when I had my daughter was that I WANT TO TRAVEL with her. I want to take her to places to explore and soak up other cultures. I met Marc about 4 years ago and he felt the same way: let's travel more. So we do and we love it.
Below are some photos from our trip to San Diego and Mexico!
